Animal Welfare Society Holds Annual "Pay for a Spay" Fundraiser
Last year the The Animal Welfare Society helped save the lives of over 1870 homeless cats, of which over 1000 were kittens. They are committed to these pets and their futures and want to help even more cats this year.
You can help save a life by paying for a spay.
As part of the solution to the cat overpopulation problem in Southern Maine, the Animal Welfare Society offers an affordable Spay/Neuter Program to assist pet owners in having their cat spayed or neutered. With the help of people like you who care enough to sponsor the AWS Spay/Neuter Program, they have been able to provide thousands of surgeries. This in turn has prevented an untold number of unwanted births, but they still have a long way to go!
A donation of $75 will cover the cost of a female spay, a donation of $45 will cover the cost of a male neuter or a donation of $120 will cover both. Please consider sponsoring the spay or neuter of at least one cat through our Spay/Neuter Program. By sponsoring a surgery you can help eliminate the needless suffering of countless animals.
