Animal Welfare Society Names Kerrie Robinson Director of Development


The Animal Welfare Society is pleased to announced that Kerrie Robinson has been named Director of Development.

Robinson will focus primarily on community interactions, public awareness and donor relationships and will work closely with Executive Director Steve Jacobsen to ensure the successful future of AWS.

Prior to AWS, Robinson worked for KempGoldberg, a Portland, Maine based advertising and public relations agency, as an Account Executive managing client relationships and providing strategic direction to agency accounts. Previously, she worked for CancerCare, a Manhattan-based non-profit organization, providing emotional and financial support to people with cancer and their loved ones, where she was responsible for national direct mail programs.

Robinson, who resides in Portland, Maine with her two adopted dogs, received a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia.
