The Salvation Army Continues Excellent Service as Reinforcements from HSUS Arrive

As the Animal Welfare Society and The Animal Refuge League take the lead in providing care for this colossal collection of dogs and pups at the Buxton seizure site, in comes The Humane Society of the United States with reinforcements. The HSUS has been working to promote the protection of animals since 1954 and works across the US and abroad to defend the interests of animals.

Now that theyÕve assessed the medical needs of the group, veterinarians and assistants, including some licensed veterinary technicians whoÕve also volunteered their services, move forward targeting the individual needs of each dog. The Salvation Army Disaster Services continues its excellent service in providing nourishment for hard working bodies. AWS Executive Director , Steve Jacobsen, impresses that ÒtheyÕve been with us from the beginningÓ and all involved are extremely grateful to them.
