As January speeds by AWS is working on its final adoptions of the Buxton puppy mill dogs and has been doing follow up calls to see how the ones who have already been adopted are doing in their new homes. Although every puppy mill survivor is different each one will need lots of patience and the Animal Welfare Society wants to do everything it can to keep these homes permanent.

People who are interested in adopting are encouraged to keep checking our website as these dogs and pups will be posted when ready for adoption. Both shelters are still in need of monetary donations.
