Throughout the next several weeks, both lead agencies, The Animal Welfare Society and The Animal Refuge League, are working with the state's Animal Welfare Program to spay and neuter every single dog and pup before placing for adoption. Management continues to move slowly and deliberately to ensure that there are no missed details and that this phase works as smoothly as possible. In the past couple of weeks, volunteers have been deployed from CMDART and UAN's EARS two organizations that are trained specifically to respond to animal emergencies. People who are interested in adopting are encouraged to keep checking our website as these dogs and pups will be posted when ready for adoption.
