Well, I think you get the gist. Hungry mouths and dirty puppies donÕt take a holiday and any of you whoÕve been in the field of animal welfare know this to be true. These animals depend on us whether itÕs Christmas day or just any old day. With that being said, all involved are pacing themselves for the long haul as it may be months or even a year before this crowd of caninesÕ fate is determined in a court of law. This week, The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) joined in the crusade. As coordinating volunteers and staff for the site remains to be quite an ample challenge, the Animal Welfare Society and The Animal Refuge League along with the HSUS are working together to make things run as smoothly as possible.
