"Lola"

Blossoming with every new day, Lola continues to shine. She is a busy bee,
loves to be the center of attention and craves a nice long belly rub. She has graduated from the basic obedience class at AWS and is a pleasure to work with. Keeping four feet on the floor at all times is still in the works for Lola so children over six, who can handle her “manners in training” would be best. She finds the company of her family to be extremely rewarding. Daily exercise for Lola will be essential. She will be a much happier dog having at lease one jog or run each day as well as play time. Playing fetch in a fenced yard would be perfect for her! Lola has become more relaxed around other dogs and has joined several play
groups. She would like to meet any potential new K-9 roommates she may be living with so bring you pooch by for a visit. Still gaining confidence, Lola will need help continuing to realize strangers
aren’t that scary. Treats are great for this and boy does she love them. Lola is
excited to start her new adventure with her family. She is ready to settle in and
enjoy many happy, laughter filled years together. A very upbeat girl, she sees life as a big party! Lola is in foster care now, but is available by appointment. Give us a call at 985-3244 or stop by the shelter to arrange a meeting with this lovely gal.

LOLA'S UPDATE!!!!

Lola has really settled into the foster care routine these past few weeks. She loves having a soft, warm bed to sleep on at night, and she’s not opposed to sleeping in on occasion. Of course, once we’re up and moving we are really moving. Lola loves a nice long walk or two or three… I’ve found that she will never say no to a little exercise. In fact, she is happy to do just about anything that involves being with her people. She would make a great side kick for hiking, swimming, or jogging. That being said, Lola is not just an athlete outside; she is also a marathon napper! She is happy to settle down on her side of the couch and spend a few hours in sweet slumber or chewing on a rawhide. Lola is also learning new obedience skills, and every time she is praised you see her confidence grow. She would love to continue to learn in her forever home with positive reinforcement; this is one dog that blossoms with praise, but wilts with punishment. Lola is at the shelter on Friday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sunday afternoons to meet new friends in hopes of finding a forever family. Come on by and meet this sweetheart of a dog!
