"Ernie"
Perfectly capable of learning every trick in the book, Ernie is the Einstein of the dog world. Not only is he a smart little bugger he is also pretty darn cute and boy, does he know it! Ernie is mesmerized by a treat and eager to please you any way he can to get that little morsel of food. If he could figure out how to stand on his head and juggle with his back feet he would! 100% Jack Russell Terrier at heart, he is less needy and high energy than most. Currently enjoying his time in several playgroups with other dogs, Ernie is very interested in meeting new dogs he may soon be sharing his home with. A bouncy bundle of fun, Ernie would like to sign up for an agility class with his new family. He can't wait to impress them with his sheer wit and intelligence. We haven't seen Ernie in action with any feline friends so it is hard to say exactly how he would do but there is a possibility he may do just fine with them. He is a real charmer and will have you in hysterics with ham of a personality. Let's not forget his daily exercise routine. He will make a gracious walking partner, taking in all the wonderful scenery and sniffing all the smells the great outdoors has to offer! Ernie would be happy with older children that will play gently with him and have fun keeping him on his toes with new tricks. An extremely enjoyable little dog, Ernie will make the perfect sidekick for someone looking to find a frisky, playful and lovable dog.
