"Belle"

Meet Belle! This spunky little love bug is a four year old mixed breed that came to us from an over crowded shelter in the South to find a loving forever home up North. She is a friendly little lady that loves to go on walks and play. Belle also loves to just curl up with her people and just spend some nice quality time with them. When she first came to us she did not do well with other animals. One of our professional dog trainers as well as our staff members have been working with her and she has greatly improved. Belle has been out around town and at several public events and done wonderful. She has even been in play groups with other dogs here at the shelter and had a blast. Belle is a great girl and should do just fine sharing her new home with certain other dogs and children over the age of six due to her activity level. If you are interested in adopting this wonderful girl please fill out an adoption questionnaire and stop in with your family including other dogs to meet Belle.

Our Paws Across America program has saved the lives of hundreds of puppies and dogs. When we have the space available, we work with volunteers in Louisiana, Indiana and Georgia to transport puppies and dogs from overcrowded facilities to Maine for a second chance at life. Please help us to continue this life-saving mission. These dogs have a $60.00 transfer fee when adopted.
