"Poe"
Meet Poe! Like all of our cats over 6 months old, Poe's adoption fee is waived. So all you have to do to add him to your family is stop by the shelter and pick him up! He is a super cool eight year old cat that has been living the shelter life for far too long. He is a lovable guy that can't wait to find a forever home to call his own. Poe enjoys getting scratches behind the ears and rubs under the chin. Poe can also be quite playful at  times. He loves cat nip and will roll around on the floor and play with kitty toys too. Poe has an independent streak as well, so he's more than delighted to be left to his own designs at times. Poe would be happy to share his new home with other cats and gentle children who will be respectful and give him space when needed. Poe is not a big fan of dogs, they are too nosey for him, so we will not be asking him to share his new home with any.
